Neo Geo annuncia una partatile
Neo Geo X, nuova portatile in arrivo sul mercato non è altro che una versione portatile della storica console Neo Geo, la quale sbarcherà sul mercato entro il prossimo giugno. Il primo comunicato ufficiale giunto in redazione parla di almeno 20 giochi classici già pre-caricati in memoria con licenza ufficiale SNK Playmore, tra i titoli pre-caricati spuntano Fatal Furies, King of the Monsters, NAM 1975 e Metal Slug.
Le dimensioni di Neo Geo X saranno di 170 x 72 x 15 mm, avente uno schermo da 3,5 pollici, con memoria integrata da 2 GB, dispone di quattro bottoni frontali, il D-Pad, L1/L2 e R1/R2, il tasto Start e due tasti per la regolazione del volume e della luminosità posti nella parte inferiore.
Oltre a questi dettagli, si sa già da oggi che saràpresente uno slot per card SD, uscita cuffie, altoparlanti e un’uscita video che consentirà il collegamento a monitor e TV.
NeoGeo X sarà distribuito da Tommo, negli Stati Uniti e da BLAZE in Europa, Medio Oriente e Australia. Il distributore europeo è il punto di riferimento per i prodotti SEGA e ATARI.
Ad oggi il prezzo di vendita non è stato ancora rilasciato, ma le prime indiscrezioni trapelate in rete parlano di una soglia prossima ai 600 euro per una versione “Limited”.
Il prezzo se cosi fosse sarebbe nella norma, visto che nel lontano 1990 il Neo-Geo costava circa 650 dollari mentre ogni cartuccia costava circa 200 dollari.

The “NEOGEO X” will be released in Q2 2012 following the 20th anniversary of the ground breaking NEOGEO AES console. This Limited Edition handheld console will feature 20 officially licensed NEOGEO games including retro classics such METALSLUG, THE KING OF FIGHTERS and FATAL FURY.
