DICE, la software house svedese nota per titoli quali Battlefield 3, è alla ricerca di una nuova figura professionale qualificata per prendere il ruolo di AI Animator.

Uno dei punti forti del team è quello di puntare ad animazioni ultra realistiche e chiede quindi che il candidato abbia esperienze nel settore videoludico, capacità di lavorare in gruppo, conoscenza eccellente delle animazioni principali e del software Maya, Motion Builder o simili, passione per i videogiochi e l’animazione, esperienza nello impostare o gestire alberi complessi di livelli di animazioni, motion capture, registrazione e editing. L’obiettivo principale è quello di sfruttare il nuovo tool ANT per sfornare animazioni incredibili da sfruttare prossimamente.

AI ANIMATOR

Role Overview

We are now looking for skilled Animators. As an Animator at DICE you play a crucial role when it comes to tying together gameplay, storytelling and character movement. As an Animator you will be responsible all the way from idea and creating prototypes and the directing of actors and stuntmen during motion capture sessions, to the final stage when animating and implementing the result into the game. With our content driven animation tool ANT you will have a unique possibility to prototype your ideas and try out new cool features all by yourself. You can also tweak all your animation blending into perfection, and of course it’s all in real time. Working as an animator here at DICE has never been more exciting!

What skills does DICE look for?

  • Experience from working with animation in the game industry
  • Experience from working together with bode code and design in the animation process
  • Excellent understanding of the animation principles
  • Excellent skills in working with Maya, Motion Builder or similar
  • Passionate about video games and animation
  • Experience with setting up/working with animation blending trees and/or state machines
  • Experience working with motion capture, recording and editing
  • Strong ability to deliver on time and to set realistic time estimates for own work
  • Motivated & Committed
  • Good Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Industry knowledge, knowledge of common practices and understanding of industry trend
