Una nuova avventura si avvicina.
Oggi Koei Tecmo Europe ha annunciato Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, che arriverà su PS4 e PS Vita (solo in digitale su quest’ultima) il 10 Giugno 2016. Questo capitolo segna ufficialmente il debutto della saga su PS4 nonché un nuovo inizio per l’RPG di Gust.
Ambientato in una città medievale europea, il nuovo Atelier narra le vicende di una giovane alchimista alle prime armi che scopre di possedere un almanacco enigmatico dotato di anima. Il Libro Misterioso sembra contenere tutti i segreti della conoscenza alchemica e diventerà il “mentore” di Sophie, che comincerà così a viaggiare fra le memorie dimenticate per scoprire le strane vicende dietro l’origine del libro.
Lo sviluppatore ha inoltre pubblicato un teaser trailer e alcune immagini di gioco che potete vedere nella galleria sottostante.

Celebrated Atelier series from GUST to debut on the PlayStation®4 this summer!
Hertfordshire, 18th March 2016 – Koei Tecmo proudly announced today the upcoming launch of Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and the PlayStation®Vita handheld system (digital only) on 10th June 2016. This is the debut of the long-running Atelier series on the PlayStation®4 and it marks a new beginning for GUST’s popular RPG brand.
Set against a vibrant background reminiscent of a medieval European town the Atelier series’ 17th instalment follows the exploits of a young novice Alchemist who discovers she is the owner of an enigmatic volume imbued with a soul. This Mysterious Book seems to hold all the secrets to Alchemy knowledge and it goes on to become Sophie’s mentor. Sophie’s improving alchemy skills start bringing back forgotten memories and uncover the strange tale of the book’s origin.
The development team at GUST consider this title ‘the new standard for the Atelier series’ as they have poured all their creativity in rebuilding the alchemy system from the ground up and in crafting a visually stunning world full of well-rounded characters and beautiful illustrations. In a series first, there are two key illustrators involved in the making of Atelier Sophie, NOCO and Yuugen. Their distinctive work makes the world come alive and creates a dynamic environment where time, weather, and relationships affect the adventures of the young new alchemist and her trusted allies! K
