Sega annuncia la data di uscita ufficiale di Alpha Protocol

In arrivo l’RPG di spionaggio per PC, PS3 e 360.

Sega ci comunica che Alpha Protocol: il gioco di spionaggio, sviluppato da Obsidian Entertainment, è stato schedulato in uscita per il 28 Maggio 2010 per Personal Computer e console PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360.

Il titolo si prefigge di essere un forte concorrente della serie Mass Effect di BioWare. La componente del gioco di ruolo unita all’azione e condita da una trama di spionaggio militare è la formula su cui SEGA poggia il suo ambizioso obiettivo. Il giocatore deve impersonare Michael Thorton, una giovane spia, messa di colpo in mezzo ad una marea di eventi più grandi di lui. L’unica sua copertura è il nome in codice Protocollo Alpha.

Alpha Protocol, the first modern day espionage RPG, to be available in stores on 28^th May 2010

LONDON (February 25^th, 2010) – SEGA® Europe Ltd. are proud to announce that Obsidian Entertainment’s long awaited Alpha Protocol is hitting store shelves this summer. The espionage game, a fiercely original take on the role playing game genre, will launch in Europe on 28^th May 2010 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC Games For Windows.

With a plot torn from today’s headlines and more twists than a blockbuster movie, Alpha Protocol brings a new level of modern day realism to the world of RPGs. Tasked with uncovering the perpetrators behind a tragic missile attack on a passenger jetliner, players dive into a story rich with characters and locations to discover an international arms-dealing conspiracy. Through their actions and choices, players direct the outcome of the game as they ultimately decide who to befriend, trust or kill.

In Alpha Protocol, players assume the role of rookie spy Michael Thorton and are given unprecedented control over the development of his abilities and interactions with other characters. Customisable character skill-sets, attributes and weapons all play an important role in allowing gamers to tailor Thorton to their play-style.

Alpha Protocol is set to release in Europe on 28^th May 2010 on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC Games For Windows.
