Un importante traguardo
Tra i tanti importanti anniversari videoludici che si festeggiano in questo 2011 possiamo annoverare anche il franchise City Of Heroes.
In occasione del settimo anniversario dalla creazione del gioco, il publisher NCsoft e Paragon Studios hanno deciso di festeggiare questo importante traguardo del franchise MMO omonimo.
Nel corso di questi anni i videogiocatori che hanno preso parte all’esperienza di gioco regalata dal titolo hanno creato oltre 40 milioni di eroi e super-cattivi, guadagnando oltre 15 miliardi di punti esperienza, completando più di un milione e mezzo di missioni ed interagendo nel vasto mondo di gioco in molti altri modi.
Ebbene in occasione di questo anniversario NCSoft ha deciso di festeggiare riattivando per un periodo limitato tutti gli account di gioco, facendo sconti particolari sull’acquisto di pacchetti per abbellire il proprio personaggio e molto altro ancora.

today – a date that marks seven years worth of unequalled content, 20 Issues of unfolding
storylines and millions of players who have created more than 40 million Heroes and
Villains and counting.
Over the past seven years, City of Heroes players around the globe have earned more than
15 billion experience points in their journey to save the world or conquer it. Those
experience points were earned by playing more than 1,600 missions, 40+ task forces or
raids and more than 375,000 user-generated Architect missions – enough content to last
someone 3,900 days to play through it all.
City of Heroes broke new ground when it launched in 2004 as the first comic-book inspired

Sidekicking, user-generated content, virtually limitless character customisation, action-
