Robert Rodriguez annuncia una collaborazione con AMD

Il celebre regista Robert Rodriguez, artefice di pellicole cinematografiche quali Sin City, Machete e molte altre ancora, ha annunciato ufficialmente che durante il Comic-Con 2011 di San Diego presenterà ufficialmente i futuri progetti della sua casa di produzione Quick Draw Productions.

Tra le altre cose, inoltre, svelerà ufficialmente la collaborazione con AMD per l’utilizzo dell’innovativa tecnologia VISION utilizzata nel montaggio e creazione dei film.

In particolare Rodriguez ha fatto sapere di aver utilizzato la tecnologia in questione per il nuovo film della serie omonima, Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World, che utilizzerà a quanto pare l’innovativo 4D Aromascope, una particolare tecnologia che mescola sapientemente il 3D all’utilizzo dell’olfatto.

Spy Kids 4 sarà rilasciato nelle sale cinematografiche il 19 Agosto 2011.

Los Angeles — July 19, 2011 — Award-winning writer / producer / director Robert Rodriguez will take the stage at Comic-Con 2011’s Hall H on Thursday, July 21st to reveal the first slate of film and new media projects under his new banner, Quick Draw Productions. The filmmaker will also announce a new relationship with cutting-edge computer semiconductor design company, AMD (NYSE: AMD).

The Quick Draw / AMD collaboration enables Rodriguez, the director of “Sin City,” “Machete” and the “Spy Kids” franchise, to quickly deliver a more vivid, lifelike experience for audiences worldwide using VISION Technology from AMD to edit and produce his films. Rodriguez most recently used AMD’s technology in the production of his latest feature “Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D Aromascope,” which opens in theaters on August 19, 2011.

“I created Quick Draw as an engine to power my ideas into reality and I’m excited to give the fans at Comic-Con a first look at the films we’re developing.
