Metacritic, il riferimento per le valutazioni delle redazioni e degli utenti anche in ambito videoludico, ha pubblicato la sua classifica annuale premiando Electronic Arts come miglior publisher del 2012.
Nell’articolo pubblicato sul sito ufficiale si nota come EA è riuscita nel 2012 a collezionare la media più alta di voti, ben 75.2, grazie a Mass Effect 3, seppur criticato aspramente da un certo numero di fan della serie, con 93 in versione 360, compensato dal peggior voto assegnato a Medal of Honor: Warfighter di 50.
Ogni publisher ha il suo top e il suo flop. Almeno quello di EA non è stato il peggiore.
