Asus e la sua divisione gaming ROG, Republic of gamers, è presente in qualità di sponsor tecnico al Frankfurt Major 2015, il torneo DOTA ufficiale finanziato da VALVE, la cui finale si terrà a Francoforte a partire il 21 novembre. Il Frankfurt Major è il primo torneo DOTA, tra i tre che Valve finanzia direttamente, ed è anche uno dei più importanti, subito dopo quello internazionale che si terrà ad agosto. Asus vi partecipa fornendo i portatili sui quali i campioni di tutto il mondo si sfideranno, ma non solo. In occasione del torneo infatti la compagnia ha avviato il concorso “Selfie with Rog” che vi darà la possibilità di partecipare all’estrazione di un premio fantastico, il ROG G752, uno dei laptop più potenti presenti sul mercato, in grado di competere con qualsiasi macchina desktop. Per capirci, una macchina portatile con processore Intel Skylake 6700 e GTX980m.. Per partecipare dovrete indovinare il nome del vincitore del torneo e postare una vostra foto con sullo sfondo il monitor del vostro pc che mostra una immagine dei notebook presenti al Frankfurt Major. Frankfurt, Germany, 20 novembre 2015 – ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced that it is the proud laptop supplier for The Frankfurt Major tournament, which will be held from 16th – 21st November, 2015 at the Festhall Messe in Frankfurt, Germany. The Frankfurt Major is the first Major event of Valve’s Dota 2 Major Championships, which adds three new publisher-sponsored tournaments annually in addition to The International tournament held in August this year.
Dota 2 fans can watch the live stream of The Frankfurt Major. They can participate in the ‘Selfie with ROG’ online giveaway simply by predicting the overall champions of The Frankfurt Major, and uploading a selfie with their monitors showing ROG gaming laptops on the analysts’ desks in the background.
