Ubisoft ha comunicato in forma ufficiale lo sviluppo di Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6, sesto capitolo della storica serie di sparatutto tattico denominato Patriots.
Il titolo sarà ambientato in un momento della storia in cui il terrorismo ha forte potere. David Sears, direttore creativo di Ubisoft, ha richiarato: “Il terrorismo si è evoluto e cosi è stato per Rainbow 6. In Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots, tutti gli elementi preferiti dagli appassionati, come il gioco di squadra, le tattiche e il realismo, sono stati associati a una nuova direzione narrativa davvero emozionante, ciò aggiunge un livello di umanità senza precedenti, che farà di Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots un’esperienza emotivamente coinvolgente.”
Tra le novità citiamo una modalità co-operativa e competitiva ricca di inedite caratteristiche che aumenterà l’esperienza di gioco della Campagna.

L’uscita del titolo è fissata ad un generico anno 2013 su piattaforma PC, Playstation 3 e Xbox 360.
