ll gioco, sviluppato da FreeStyleGames, studio già alle spalle di DJ Hero e DJ Hero 2, introdurrà due modalità di gioco nuove per la serie: GH Live, con punto di vista in soggettiva che vi permetterà di salire sul palco e guardare il vostro pubblico reale in delirio (o nauseato) dalla vostra performance, e GHTV, il primo network al mondo di video musicali giocabili, che permetterà ai fan di divertirsi con una collezione continuamente aggiornata di video musicali ufficiali.
Con il gioco arriverà inoltre un nuovo controller chitarra i cui dettagli verranno svelati con l’avvicinarsi della data d’uscita.Nel frattempo non ci resta che scoprire la nuova tracklist e le prime 24 canzoni:
