In patria superati i 12 milioni e mezzo di unità vendute.
Che dopo un avvio a rilento Nintendo 3DS si fosse ripreso brillantemente non è certo una scoperta di oggi.
Grazie ad un numero sempre maggiore di titoli interessanti, alla possibilità di scegliere tra due versioni diverse (che diventeranno tre a breve) e per merito anche di un prezzo diventato competitivo dopo il price-cut, la portatile Nintendo ha fatto registrare vendite sempre più positive.
A conferma degli straordinari risultati raggiunti, nella settimana terminata il 22 Settembre 2013, Nintendo 3DS ha superato di circa 50 mila unità le vendite complessive di Wii in Giappone.
Un ottimo risultato considerato che il ciclo vitale delle console della famiglia 3DS non dovrebbe esaurirsi a breve, anche se sono ancora lontane le 32 milioni di unità vendute con Nintendo DS e GameBoy/GameBoyColor.
