Omen 15 è il nuovo portatile gaming di HP
HP ha rinnovato interamente la propria gamma Omen ed in particolare la nuova linea di portatili gaming Omen, la cui punta di diamante è l’OMEN 15.
Il portatile OMEN 15 è in vendita a partire da oggi con un prezzo di 1100 euro e, tra le principali caratteristiche, vanta un totale redesign della scocca, che ha portato ad una riduzione dello spessore dell’11% rispetto al precedente OMEN ed una riduzione delle dimensioni totali dell’ 8%. HP ha anche eliminato i bordi angolari intorno alla cerniera del laptop, segno distintivo della precedente generazione Omen. Questa volta, HP ha voluto sottolineare con il nuovo design l’attenzione alla portabilità e non solo alla potenza bruta, adottando un look più sottile e minimalista. I portatili OMEN 15, inoltre, supporteranno per la prima volta i processori AMD, compreso il Ryzen 7 4000, una CPU in grado di offrire prestazioni eccezionali e decisamente superiori alle controparti Intel Comet Lake H di decima generazione che restano comunque disponibili in fase di configurazione. Per quanto riguarda il comparto grafico, le opzioni di personalizzazione prevedono GPU a partire dalla Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 fino a una GPU GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q.
L’altra grande novità dell’Omen 15 è il sistema di raffreddamento. L’azienda ha aumentato le dimensioni delle ventole del portatile e le uscite di scarico sul retro per contribuire ad aumentare il flusso d’aria massimo di oltre il 62%. HP ha anche aggiunto un “sensore termopila a infrarossi”, progettato per rilevare il calore in maniera più precisa, consentendo agli utenti di calibrare meglio le prestazioni tramite l’applicazione integrata HP Omen Command Center.
L’Omen 15 offre inoltre un’ampia personalizzazione per quanto riguarda la RAM e lo storage, incluso il supporto a dischi SSD fino a 1TB PCIe NVMe. Inoltre, gli utenti potranno scegliere di equipaggiare i propri OMEN 15 anche con un display OLED 4K da 15,6, anzichè i tradizionali schermi IPS, tecnologia che però può vantare una frequenza di aggiornamento di 120Hz, 144Hz, o anche 300Hz.
Pavillion Gaming 16
L’altro prodotto gaming presentato nella giornata di oggi è il Pavillong Gaming da 16,1 pollici, un portatile a metà strada tra il Pavillon da 17 pollici e quello da 15,6 pollici già presente nel catalogo HP. I clienti potranno acquistarlo con un processore Intel Core i7 di decima generazione e una scheda grafica Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super Max-Q, mentre per il display sarà possibile anche scegliere, in fase di configurazione, un display con frequenza di aggiornamento di 144Hz.
